  • GALLO DEL CILEO "Rooster" NRHA 2 Million Dollar Sire, full brother to NRHA Million Dollar sire Grays Starlight. Sired by AQHA Hall of Fame sire Peppy San Badger with offspring earnings in excess of $23 million. His mother, Doc's Starlight was sired by Doc Bar.

  • Captain Barbossa – The full brother to Roosters Wrangler, standing at a majestic 15.2 hands. Captain Barbossa (“Jack”) was purchased by Silver Spurs and became our #1 prospect for the 2008 NRHA Futurity. Unfortunately a freak accident in the shower stall took out his right eye. We took Jack to the Futurity anyway but his turns and rollbacks on his blind side were just too choppy and he did not make it past the first go.

    Our assistant trainer took Jack over and has worked with him over the years and he now is beginning to do well in the Rookie Professional and Limited Open Classes. His NRHA
    earnings are $825. Jack is a horse that was destined for greatness but because of injury
    never had the chance.

    If you are looking for a stallion that will throw off height, talent, athleticism and a willingness to train regardless of the obstacles – Captain Barbossa is the stallion for you.

  • After payment has been received by the high bidder Silver Spurs Equine will mail or email a donated 2014 breeding contract to the high bidder.
  • 1. This Stallion Service Contract for COOLED SHIPPED SEMEN is for the 2014 breeding
    season only (February 1, 2014 through June 20, 2014).

    2. This Stallion Service Contract is valid for COOLED SHIPPED SEMEN ONLY. Frozen
    semen is NOT available for this service contract, therefore no requests for frozen semen will be honored.

    3. The winning bidder is required to pay Silver Spurs Equine a booking fee of $200.00 upon execution of the Donated Stallion Service Contract for Cooled Shipped Semen. This bookingfee is in addition to any amount paid by the winning bidder to purchase the breeding and is not included in the proceeds to the AzRHA Best Of The West Stallion Auction.

    4. The winning bidder is required to pay all semen shipping fees as detailed in the 2014
    Stallion Service Contract. Stallion is collected Monday, Wednesday and Friday
    only. Federal Express Priority Overnight $300.00 Monday and Wednesday collection and $325.00 for Friday collection. Counter to counter (same day) $425.00

    5. Silver Spurs Equine will also offer on-farm breeding services. For details regarding the
    additional costs for an on-farm breeding (such as transportation, boarding, vet fees,
    collection fees, etc.) and arranging for an on-farm breeding please contact Silver Spurs
    Equine at 480-563-1966.

    6. The winning bidder is subject to all of the terms and conditions of Silver Spurs Equine's Donated Stallion Service Contract.
