  • The high bidder in the auction will pay the bid price to RMRHA. All other fees are paid to the owner and/or the breeding manager at time of breeding. These fees include, but are not limited to booking/chute fees, shipping costs, mare care. Bidders from outside the United States may have additional fees.

    Any payment made by credit card will be subject to a 4% handling fee.
  • Once payment is received by RMRHA, the Buyer will receive a signed copy of the Contract. The Stallion Owner/Agent will also receive a copy of the Contract. The Buyer may then make arrangements with the Stallion Owner/Stallion Breeding Manager to breed the mare.
  • You are bidding for one 2014 breeding contract donated to RMRHA by the stallion owner/agent for the 2014 RMRHA Stallion Stakes Auction.

    All proceeds from the sale of this auction will go to RMRHA to further develop the RMRHA Stallion Stakes Program.

    The 2014 RMRHA Breeding contract is transferable to the mare owner who purchases the stallion service. A live foal is guaranteed only to the extent of one return the following year of the same mare or a substitute mare and then only by the initial owner of the contract.

    The mare owner/buyer will be purchasing the 2014 breeding services of the stallion specified. The mare owner/buyer will be responsible to pay any and all charges/fees related to the execution of this contract, including, but not limited to: vet bills, mare care charges, chute fees, booking fees, semen shipping fees and other expenses related to the breeding of the mare. RMRHA is not responsible for any costs, expenses and/or charges related to execution of breeding contract by the breeding facility not contained or recorded in this contract. RMRHA’s involvement in and responsibility for the 2014 RMRHA Stallion Auction terminates upon the transfer of the contract to the mare owner/bidder.

    The mare owner, by participating in this RMRHA program, does understand, agree and accept that RMRHA members, officers, and representatives are not liable for death, sickness and/or accidental injury including consequential damages to the mare, foal or the mare owner during participation in this breeding program caused by either negligent or intentional acts of any party to the contract.

    RMRHA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, extend deadlines, or otherwise modify the rules as necessary to deal with unforeseen circumstances which arise.
