"Growing up in my family meant spending time with horses. I started showing at the age of four as my Mom would take me to open shows and AQHA shows. My favorite pony at the time was Good Time Billy. He was a gentle black and white that I had to show English in the walk/ trot because he trotted too fast for the western classes. Therefore I was the only kid in the walk/trot that showed English".
"I continued as a youth to show pleasure and all-around horses. My mother always stood by my side taking me from event to event. I was hooked at a very early age."
"I started showing Reining Horses at the age of fifteen." One of my best horses at the time was Sheza Workin Girl by Dunberry, who was also the dam of Hard Workin Whizard." "In 1987 I won the AQHA Youth Reining High Point Title on her. This was was an incredible moment for me."
