  • Contracts sent the day of payment. Buyer signs contract and sends copy back to Gordyville LLC. Gordyville LLC will forward copy to stallion owner.
  • The auction is for the breeding fee only. All additional charges, booking, chute, mare care, shipped semen, veterinary bills, etc. are the responsibility of the mare owner and need to be discussed between the mare owner and stallion owner/agent. The breeding season in force for this contract begins February 1, and closes July 1, and mare owner shall be entitled to one return privilege in the following year for the same mare, if said mare does not produce a live foal that stands and sucks in the year following the first breeding pursuant to this contract, or in the event of death, or vet certified breeding unsoundness, of said mare, a substitute mare may be used.
    The donation of this sold breeding entitles the stallion owner to one free entry into one division/level of the 2013 Gordyville Breeder’s Derby. The entry must be sired by the donated stallion. If no get is eligible, stallion owner may substitute another entry by a sire enrolled and sold in the Gordyville Breeder’s Derby. Free entry is nontransferable.

    The Gordyville Breeder’s Derby hereby transfers this breeding to the highest bidder and acknowledges the receipt of payment of bid plus $75.00, (USA funds) as full payment. All arrangements for this breeding are between the mare and stallion owners. The mare owner receives one free entry into one division or level of the 2013 Gordyville Breeder's Derby. The entry must be by a sire enrolled and sold for 2013. Entry is nontransferable.

    Breeding will sell under terms and conditions of current breeding contract, The Gordyville Breeder's Derby Stallion Auction acts only as agent in this sale and will not be responsible for accident, sickness, or death to any stallion, mare and/or foal.
