    Balaton was one of the most influential Russian Arabian Stallions in history. He was the leading sire in the russian state stud Tersk and due to his own achievements and the quality of his offspring he was called "Horse of the Century".
    Balaton was successful both on the racetrack and in the showring, earning the title European Champion Stallions in 1992.
    He sired outstanding horses both in halter and performance,
    such as Kubinec (European and World Champion Stallions), Sambist (one of the most successful race horses of the last 20 years) and of course Baikal (multiple European Reining Champion)

  • You are bidding for one (1) 2015 breeding contract donated to ARHA by the stallion owner/agent for the 2015 ARHA Stallion Auction. Enrolled stallions to be sold to the highest bidder.

    The 2015 ARHA breeding contract is transferable to the mare owner who is the winning bidder and purchases the ARHA stallion service. A live foal is guaranteed only to the extent of one return breeding the following year of the same mare or a substitute mare and then only by the initial owner of the contract.

    The mare owner/buyer will be purchasing the 2015 breeding service of the stallion specified. The mare owner/buyer will be responsible to pay any and all charges/fees related to the execution of this contract, including, but not limited to: vet bills, mare care, chute fees, booking fees, semen shipping fees and other expenses related to the breeding of the mare.

    ARHA is not responsible for any costs, expenses and/or charges related to execution of breeding contract by the breeding facility if not shown in this contract. ARHA’s involvement in and responsibility for the 2015 ARHA Stallion Auction terminates upon transfer of the contract to the mare owner/bidder.

    The mare owner, by participating in ARHA program, does understand, agree and accept that ARHA members, officers and representatives are not liable for death, sickness and/or accidental injury including consequential damages to the mare, foal or the mare owner during participation in this breeding program caused by either negligent or intentional acts of any party to the contract.

    ARHA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, extend deadlines, or otherwise modify the rules as necessary to deal with unforeseen circumstances which arise.
